Tornadoes Ace Wassa Dropped From NPFL ALL-STAR

Injured Niger Tornadoes leftback Gabriel Wassa has been dropped from the NPFL All-Stars squad bound for Spain in the new week

Wassa picked a hamstring injury in his club’s last league game and has not been able to train with the rest of the NPFL All-Stars squad this week.

“Wassa is ruled out of the tour of Spain on account of injury,” a team official disclosed to AfricanFootball.com

The All-Stars will train this weekend and fly out from Abuja to Lagos Sunday morning.

They will depart the country early Monday morning on board Air Maroc.

They are billed to take on La Liga side Valencia and feature in an invitational tournament that also has Malaga and Atletico Madrid.
