Nigerian defensive midfielder, Tope Olusesi, has sent an emotional farewell message to Enugu Rangers and its fans.

Olusesi was replaced by Ugochukwu John a few weeks ago as the captain of the former Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) champions a few weeks ago.

The captain of Nigeria's Super Eagles team B on Sunday announced his departure and also thanked the club for the enormous support in the past years.

"It was so difficult for me to compose this message because it hurts me so much parting ways with a team and family like Enugu Rangers that has given so much love and platform.

"In life, changes are always constant but it won't change the 'never say die blood' flowing in my veins because it has become part of my life

"I want to say a big thank you to the government of the state, coaching crew, players and supporters of Enugu Rangers

"It was a great pleasure putting on the colour of this great team and having the opportunity to have led one of the greatest teams in the whole of Africa.

"I'm truly grateful and blessed, I wish the team well in their endeavour", he said.
