Nigeria Super Falcons forward Toni Payne was on target as Sevilla they returned to winning ways in the Liga F, the Spanish Women league on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Payne and Sevilla emerge 4-2 victorious over Real Sociedad at the Ramón Cisneros Palacios on Saturday as their battle for top 4 remained on course.

Eva Llamas opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a clinical left-footed shot courtesy of an assist by Pamela González.

The lead was doubled 8 minutes later following an own goal by Real Sociedad’s Olatz Santana, before Cristina Martín-Prieto made it 3-0 on 34 minute.

But Emma Ramírez’s pulled one back at the stroke of half time for the away side.

Sanni Franssi reduced the deficit further with another goal for the visitors in the 65th minute.

However, Payne fired home a right-footed shot after a beautiful cross from Arola Aparicio to consolidate victory for Sevilla on 85th minute.
