Nigeria born England center-back, Fikayo Tomori has revealed how he managed to reduce the effect of the untamable prowess of Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League again AC Milan, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Napoli despite dominating the game on Tuesday night, came form behind to play a 1-1 with Osimhen scoring ninety seconds to the end of the game. 

The Rosoneri knocked out Napoli winning the contest 2-1 on aggregate following the 1-0 victory from the first-leg.

Tomori regretted the Nigeria international getting a goal in the game even though he relished the battle during the game.

“Obviously Victor is having a great season and I know how dangerous he is. I just tried to make sure I got my body in between him and the ball at all times as much as possible,” Tomori said after the game.

“I was disappointed he managed to score at the end. I just tried to get to him as tight as possible and try not to give him a lot of space.”
