Former Barcelona forward Thierry Henry has defended Liverpool newcomer Bradley Barcola, insisting the France international was not responsible for the fee paid for him.
“He did not ask them to pay €125m for him,” Henry said.
Liverpool signed Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain for 125 million euros during the summer transfer window.
The forward has made five appearances for Liverpool in all competitions since completing the move, but has yet to register a goal or an assist.
