Women's football continues develop with the help of LaLiga. For the first time, Spanish clubs' academies have a national tournament for their Under 12s to compete in, with the successful LaLiga Promises tournament putting on its first edition for girls.

Athletic, Atlético de Madrid, Betis, Sporting Huelva, Fundación Albacete, Levante, Sevilla, Madrid CFF, Deportivo, UDG Tenerife, Rayo, Espanyol, Valencia and Malaga are making history.
