TCC star Babatunde Akomolede moves to Anderlect

18-year-old defender Babatunde Akomolede has joined Anderlecht from TCC League side Broad City, signing until 2028, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The versatile defender, who spent last season on loan at Sporting Lagos in the NNL, will feature for RSCA's youth team - RSCANeerpede.

The youngster, armed with an extraordinary weapon of long throws, was named MVP of the 2024 Gothia Cup, scoring in the final.

The left-footed centre back last summer tried out for Norwegian side, Tromso, but a deal didn't materialize.
