Swedish side Östersunds FK are set to release Ghanaian youngster Thomas Boakye over lack of playing time.
Officials of the Swedish second-tier side say they cannot guarantee the 21-year-old enough playing time, leading to the decision to dispense with his services.
The former Right to Dream Academy product has struggled to hold down his position in the team in recent times.
The ex-Ghana Under-20 midfielder is being linked with a move to another Swedish lower division side Varbergs BoIS but must first pass a mandatory medical.
