Swedish side Umea FC have signed Nigerian central defender Frankline Okoye from Finnish club FF Jaro

Okoye, 24, has signed till the 2024 season.nigeria soccernet reports

“Frankline is a big, fast and physical centre-back with experience from, among other things, playing in the Finnish top league”, announced Umea sports director Adam Chennoufi

He has a nice left foot and we liked what we saw during his trial here.

“With Frankline’s arrival, we have filled the centre-back positions and feel very confident with all four of our centre-backs.”

Umea were the last club of former international Gbenga Arokoyo, who has now been appointed head coach of the club’s U21 academy.
