Super Eagles defender, Ebube Duru made an impressive and bright league debut for SoenderjyskE in the Danish Superliga on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The left-back whose debut was delayed due to work permit finally got on the pitch for a league action for SoenderjyskE against Vejle BK at the Haderslev Football Stadium.

Solid at the back, Duru repelled attacking threats from Vejle BK players, helping his team keep a clean sheet in his 72 minutes on the pitch. two minutes after the former Rivers United player was substituted SoenderjyskE conceded the equaliser having gotten ahead earlier in the game through Lirim Quamili (27').

Marc Del Hene ensured it was a debut win for the Nigerian star as he scored the winner for SoenderjyskE in the 7th minute of the additional time.

The win is SoenderjyskE's second of the campaign after nine games. They currently lie 10th on the 12-team league table.

SoenderjyskE will face Ishoj on Wednesday in the cup game and AaB on Saturday for the matchday 10 Danish Superliga encounter.
