Nigeria's Super Eagles will earn $5,000 for every goal scored at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, as part of a motivation package from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The incentive, introduced in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Sports, aims to boost the team's morale and performance.

A similar scheme was used during Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup African qualifying campaign.

Eric Chelle's side already earned $10,000 for their 2-1 win over Tanzania, and they're looking to add to their earnings in tonight's Group C clash with Tunisia, kicking off at 9 pm Nigeria time.
