Sanusi Ibrahim, striker for the Super Eagles has paid the yearly enrollment fees to the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency (NASHIA) for 110 beneficiaries in the state of Nasarawa as gathered by Nigeriasoccernet.com.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Ibrahim, who plies his trade with Club de Foot Montreal in Canada, paid the fee with his SI14 Foundation.

Ibrahim disclosed this to the beneficiaries in Keffi Local Government Area yesterday when he gave them their NASHIA Identity cards which allowed them to access free healthcare services.

Speaking to reporters, Ibrahim stated that the gesture aimed to lessen the difficulties that certain segments of the population had in obtaining healthcare services.

According to him, the 110 recipients included the elderly, those with impairments, kids under five, widows, pregnant women, and those in difficult situations who lived in the Keffi electoral wards.

"I made this effort because I am aware of the difficult circumstances faced by some citizens of the nation. They find it challenging to visit the hospital for their fundamental medical needs because of this".

"So I thought deeply about it and decided to support them by sponsoring their enrollment into the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Agency," he stated.

Sanusi not included in the Super Eagles squad who are preparing to travel to Coted'Ivoire for the 2023 AFCON and is making judicious use of the break to spread love.
