Home-based Super Eagles striker Chisom Chikatara is set to join Morrocan club Wydad Casablanca after the African Nations Championship in Rwanda.

The Abia Warriors striker according to isoccerng.com will join the Morrocan side who have reached an agreement with the Umuahia-based club to sign the in-form star who has scored four goals for Nigeria at the African Nations Championship.

The striker isoccerng.com informed turned down interests from some European clubs as well as Wydad Casablanca's arch rivals, Raja Casablanca.

Chikatara was named Man-of-the-Match after his brilliant hat trick performance in the home-based Super Eagles' 4-1 win against Niger Republic. He also scored Nigeria's goal in their 1-1 draw against Tunisia on Friday.

The Abia Warrior striker’s goal against Tunisia brought him level with South Africa’s Bernard Parker, the second highest goal scorer in the CHAN competition with four goals from the last competition in South Africa, and a goal away from equalling Zambia’s Given Singuluma who scored five goals enroute his nation's 3rd place finish in the 2009 competition hosted by Ivory Coast, a feat Chisom has achieved in fewer games.

The Eagles will clash with their West African opposite, Guinea in Tuesday’s last Group C game at the Stade Umuganda Rubavu, Gisenyi and Chikatara is expected to once again spearhead Nigeria's attack.
