Sunshine Queens of Akure have won the 2015 Women’s Federation Cup, after defeating Bayelsa Queens 3-1 on penalties.

The game was locked at 1-1 after regulation time at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Kalu Patience gave Bayelsa Queens the lead in the 65th minute, before Shola Oyewusi equalized 10 minutes later. Sunshine Queens converted three of their spot-kicks, while Bayelsa were only able to score one.
