Ghana ace Sulley Muntari's agent has rubbished reports that the AC Milan midfielder will join will ply his trade in Switzerland next season, with two Super League teams on his trail.

Swiss newspapers reported this week that Swiss champions Basel and Young Boys have been monitoring his situation, and are keen on enticing him to the Swiss Super League in the off-season.

The out-of-favor AC Milan midfielder was reported to be on the verge of sealing a move to the Swiss Super League but Frederico Pastorello says there is no truth in the report.

“Basel and Young Boys? These are two very good clubs, but I do not think that Muntari’s next club destination would be at any of the two clubs,” Pastorello said.

The 30-year-old Ghanian international has had a troubled season at the Rossoneri, having played his last match with the club after falling out with management back in March.

The midfielder is certain to be offloaded by the Italian club this season, and could see a fresh start in a new league and Champions League football as an attractive option.

Muntari has made 16 league appearances for Milan this season, netting two goals.
