Stalemate stupefies Gerrard
Steven Gerrard admits Rangers will have to improve if they are to have any chance of reaching the group stage of the Europa League.
Gerrard's team set up a third qualifying round clash with the Danish team Midtjylland but only after producing a lethargic performance in Luxembourg on Thursday.
They drew 0-0 with Progres Niederkorn to complete a 2-0 aggregate triumph after Joe Aribo and Sheyi Ojo had scored in last week's first leg.
Gerrard admitted: "I think it's important that we move on from this game and take the positives from qualification. But we'll have to play better. I look back 12 months ago and remember Shkupi being a grind, Maribor being a grind and so was Osijek.
"But we're going to have to play better if we want to get to the group stages.
"We did enough and we're into the next round. It's a clean sheet too so we'll take that and move on - but I didn't enjoy watching it. I won't even watch this game back."
Rangers are 2/1 to win the Scotland Premiership in 2019/20.
Meanwhile, Wolves eased to a 4-1 victory over Crusaders in Belfast as they completed a 6-1 aggregate win.
Crusaders actually took the lead in the second leg when Ryan Bennett scored an own goal but Wolves hit back to win the tie thanks to a Raul Jimenez brace, a Bennett strike and Jordan Forsythe's own goal.
Wolves, 21/10 to beat Leicester City in their first Premier League match of the campaign on 11th August, will play Armenia's Pyunik in the third qualifying round.
Elsewhere, Sam Cosgrove scored a hat-trick as Aberdeen beat Chikhura 5-0 to set up two matches against Rijeka in the next round.
