Sporting Lagos is on the verge of finalizing the acquisition of Samuel Ayanrinde from Kwara United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Thee striker expected to arrive in Lagos ahead pof the weekend to conclude all necessary formalities.

Ayanrinde, who has only managed to net one league goal this season, is seen as a crucial addition aimed at bolstering the offensive capabilities of the Lagos-based club.

The newly promoted NPFL team are struggling to cope in the league scoring a total 16 goals in 18  league games. They currently sit 17th on the league table.
