Torino have struggled of late on their trips to Emilia-Romagna and will be hoping to reverse that recent trend when they visit Ferrara to take on SPAL in Sunday’s Serie A lunch match.

Not since April 2016 (vs Bologna) have Toro won in Emilia-Romagna – playingT out six draws and one defeat since then.

They are, though, unbeaten in their last 11 encounters against SPAL in the top-flight, their last defeat against them was back in February 1963. Since then they’ve secured seven wins and four draws in this fixture.

SPAL are winless in each of their last eight home matches in Serie A, but they have drawn their last five (L3): the last team to draw more consecutive games at home in the top-flight were Roma in 2015 (six in a row).

Four of SPAL’s last five wins against Torino in Serie A have come on home soil, however, all came between 1956 and 1963.

SPAL: Viviano; Cionek, Felipe, Bonifazi; Lazzari, Missiroli, Valoti, Kurtic, Fares; Paloschi, Antenucci.

Torino: Sirigu; Izzo, Nkoulou, Moretti; De Silvestri, Lukic, Rincon, Ansaldi, Aina; Zaza, Belotti.
