Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to confirm whether Paulo Dybala is one of the players he hopes to sign for Manchester United before the season starts.

The Juventus striker has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford while Romelu Lukaku could move in the opposite direction.

Following Tuesday's 1-0 friendly victory over Kristiansund, Solskjaer would only say: "I am not here to talk about rumours about other teams' players. We are working on one or two cases. It is 10 days or so before we start the league and hopefully we can announce a fresh face or two."

United beat the Norwegian side 1-0 thanks to a late Juan Mata penalty while Solskjaer confirmed after the match that Eric Bailly faces up to five months on the sidelines following knee surgery.

The defender suffered the injury during United's 2-1 win over Tottenham in their pre-season meeting in Shanghai last week and had an operation on Tuesday.

Solskjaer added: "He will miss the best part of four or five months. Hopefully, we will get him back around about Christmas."

Manchester United can be backed at 11/10 to finish in the top four of the Premier League this season while Paul Pogba is 7/2 to be the club's leading goalscorer in the top-flight. United are 11/10 to beat Chelsea in their first game of the campaign on 11th August.
