Solskjaer: Pogba is fantastic
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has indicated that he wants to build his team around France international midfielder Paul Pogba.
The 26-year-old had been expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, with a return to Juventus or switch to Real Madrid mooted.
Pogba's agent recently told The Times that the midfielder was keen to leave United but Solskjaer insists he would be happy if the Frenchman remained at the club.
"Paul is a fantastic player, a fantastic human being and has always been a great professional," Solskjaer said.
"I said (previously), 'if he's in your squad, you'd build your team around him'... I haven't changed that much since then, so I'd say the same now.
"We know Paul has been criticised by a few but he's loved by loads more. The ones that might want to leave (the club) now haven't been here when it's been successful. Hopefully they want to be part of that. I want to be part of it."
Pogba has scored 31 goals in 142 appearances in his second stint with United having rejoined the club from Juventus in 2016 for £89.3million.
United can be backed at 25/1 to win the Premier League title in 2019/20 and at 11/10 to finish in the top four while they are 11/10 to beat Chelsea at Old Trafford in their first match of the campaign on 11th August.
