Sodiq Ismail gifts Remo Stars chairman Super Eagles jersey
Remo Stars fullback, Sodiq Ismail on his return to the team presented the club chairman Hon. Kunle Shoname with the Nigeria’s Super Eagles jersey, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Sodiq ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Reblic got his maiden call up to the national team.
The right-back alongside Olorunleke Ojo and Kenneth Igboke are the only home-based players in the team.
Sodiq on his return to the Ikenne outfit was pictured presenting Hon. Soname with the Super Eagles home jersey.

The 20 year old who was an unused substitute in the game against 1-1 draw against Bafana Bafana played few minutes in the 2-1 loss to Benin Republic.
