Silva happy with Sidibe arrival
Everton head coach Marco Silva is confident that loan signing Djibril Sidibe has the ability and mentality to make a big impact at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old France international has joined the Toffees on a season-long loan deal from Monaco, with Silva delighted to have secured a player who will be challenging Seamus Coleman for a starting spot on the right side of defence.
He is a World Cup winner and he has the hunger to achieve much more in his career.

The Portuguese told his club's official website: "Djibril has fantastic experience, winning titles and playing many matches in a competitive league. He is a World Cup winner and he has the hunger to achieve much more in his career.
"It is important to have different options in each position and with Djibril and Seamus Coleman we now have two high-quality right-backs.
"Djibril has also shown to me he has a real desire to play for Everton and be part of the big things we are trying to create.
"He is a strong defender, which is the most important thing. He also has the capacity to attack, crossing and linking with his team-mates."
Sidibe joined Monaco in the summer of 2016 from Lille and was a member of the France national team squad who won the World Cup in Russia just over a year ago.
Everton kick off their Premier League season with a trip to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon, with the Merseysiders unbeaten in their last nine meetings with the Eagles.
The Toffees are 11/8 to secure all three points on Saturday, with the draw priced at 9/4 and a 1-1 final scoreline available at 11/2.
