Siewert still believes in survival
Huddersfield Town boss Jan Siewert remains convinced that the Terriers 'still have a chance' of surviving in the Premier League after a last-gasp 1-0 win over Wolves.
Steve Mounie scored the only goal of the game in the 91st minute to give the German coach his first win at the fifth attempt since he took over the reins from David Wagner.
It ended a 14-game winless sequence for basement club Huddersfield that stretched back to late November. They remain 11 points from safety with time running out but the belief still exists they can survive, according to Siewert.
The Huddersfield players linked arms to celebrate in front of their fans at the end, while Siewert was engulfed by his backroom team on the sidelines.

"Since the time I arrived, I said we still have a chance and we believe that," said the coach.
"There are still games to go. We will keep on fighting."
Huddersfield are 1/750 to be relegated to the Championship this season.
After the weekend defeat to Newcastle, the German had called on his players to show more fight.
He got that as they were the better side against Wolves, though it looked like more frustration before Mounie's late intervention.
Siewert drew pride in their efforts and insists that they cannot give up on the notion of gathering the points they need to survive in the ten games that remain.
"My thoughts are just with the boys. They made me so proud. They deserve it so much," he added.
"I think we can all be proud to be Huddersfield [tonight].
"I told you right from the beginning. I know it won't be easy but we keep on fighting.
"You can calculate the number of games. There is still a chance."
Huddersfield face a vital trip to fell strugglers Brighton on Saturday, where they are 17/4 to pick up three points. The Seagulls, winless so far in 2019, are 8/11 to win while the draw is priced at 12/5.
