Shooting Stars Sports Club have emerged champions of the Coal City Cup after edging Remo Stars on Tuesday in Enugu, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Oluyole Warriors defeated the Sky Blue Stars 4-1 on penalties after a goalless affair at full time at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

3SC who qualified as one of the top four of the group defeated Sierra Leonean side, FC Kallon 1-0 in the semi final to play against Remo Stars in the final.

Remo Stars on their part had defeated Rangers International 2-0 in the semi final to reach the final after finishing top of the group to reach the semi final.

It would have a second consecutive pre season tournament title for Remo Stars after winning the valueJet pre-season Cup last week.
