SHOCK: Nigeria striker Brown Ideye reveals Super Eagles players engage in 'juju' and witchdoctors
Nigeria footballer star Brown Ideye has SHOCKINGLY revealed that players of the country's national team the Super Eagles seek the assistance of black magic 'juju' and its witchdoctors to be successful in matches on their football careers.
The Greece-based striker has confirmed the long-held suspicions that players do the Nigeria national team have been engaging in these acts even though he has adviced them against it.
The Olympiakos attacker says the players continue to use the services of the witchdoctors despite the advice they get from him which has left him helpless.
admits that Nigerian players seek the assistance of herbalists in order to make it as footballers.
“I know players who get involved with the juju men and they can’t get out. It’s a trap. They might get short-term benefits, but in the long run they pay for it. Juju men have a lot of influence," Ideye told the Mirror.
“These are men who are just trying to make themselves rich and tell you they can make your life perfect.
“If things like that worked then instead of Messi and Ronaldo winning world player of the year it should be some African players.
“I would advise players not to follow this route but it’s their choice, I can’t stop them.”
In a report by the Sun, top Premier League players are using black magic to try and improve their games.
It claims the superstitious stars are paying thousands of pounds to witchdoctors in a bid to find another level.
The players are visiting Juju men in West Africa, where they are shown how to conduct bizarre rituals that are also said to break the curse of injury.
Emmanuel Adebayor claimed earlier this year that his mum used black magic to ruin his form in front of goal for Spurs.

I agree they do cos when i use to play my trade in germany i was using it.a friend in Ghana introduced me to this lady who who washed my body by the sea at night and gave me some stuff to use when goin on the park.it only made things worse for me cos I wasn't scorin and things started getting worse.was sending the lady money each week.and started having grazy nightmares.one day my mom called me and said she was praying and God reveald to her what i was doing.i threw everything away and got on my knees and prayd and fasted for a week.My dreams of playing at first division did not happend but i thank Gid for my life.most of these blackstars players use juju on the players born out of gh cos how many of the players born outside gh hav made it longer in the gh team.the ayews brothers are protected by their father so it doesn't work on them.
