Shalulile leads Namibia’s attack in CAN 2027 clash with Congo

Namibia face Congo on Thursday, 24 September, in the opening round of the CAN 2027 qualifiers, with the Brave Warriors aiming for a winning start in Group G.

Although listed as the home side, Namibia will play on Botswana soil. Congo arrive with a squad that includes several players accustomed to international football.

Namibia head coach Collin Benjamin has selected a number of his established players from the start. Captain Peter Shalulile leads the attack, with the Young Africans forward joined in the front line by Deon Hotto.

Aprocius Petrus, Riaan Hanamub and Charles Hambira are also included in Benjamin’s starting side.
