Nigeria's Tyronne Ebuehi propelled Empoli to victory in their match day 35 Serie A encounter at the on Monday evening, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ebuehi gave two assists as Empoli edged Salernitana by two goals to one to end Salernitana’s 10-match unbeaten run and definitively break away from the relegation zone.

Nicolò Cambiaghi scored with a diving header from a fine cross from Ebuehi to put the host team in the lead in the 37th minute.

The Super Eagles defender had an opportunity of his own to score in the 62nd minute after his looping header thumped the crossbar from Marin's corner.
