Coming from a brilliant second-tier league final win, Italian up-and-coming trainer Alessio Dionisi, who turned 41 on April 1st, is about to be officially announced as Sassuolo new first-team manager. Previously training another upcoming Serie A returning rookie, namely Venezia, Dionisi was previously linked to a bunch more clubs, including Sampdoria and Udinese.
Playing in minor-league championships throughout his career as a footballer, lasted from 1999 to 2014, Dionisi is joining Neroverdi upon recent parting with Roberto De Zerbi. Leaving Empoli after just one season, a very successful one though, the 1980-born has been deemed one of European top prospects in football coaching.
