Nigeria's Samuel Chukwueze opened his goal scoring account in the Seria A after scoring in AC Milan's win over Hellas Verona on Sunday, Nigeriasocceenet.com reports.

The Super Eagles midfielder came from the bench to strike a wonderful volley to help Milan to a 3-1 win over Verona at the Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium.

After cagey affair for most of the first half, Theo Hernandez broke the deadlock on 44 minute to give the visitors the lead at the end of the first 45.

Christian PulisicĀ  doubled the lead just 5 minutes after the resumption of the game, but Tijjani Noslin pulled 1 back for the hosts on 67 minute.

Chukwueze came in for Noah Okafor on 74 minute and quickly made an impact 5 minutes later to end any hope of a comeback for the home side.

The win keeps AC Milan second with 62 points.
