According to Gianluca Di Marzio, newly appointed Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is already pondering how to build the team for next season, and Cristiano Ronaldo's role in it hasn't been decided yet.

Allegri, in his second stint with Juve after winning five Serie A titles in his five years in charge between 2014 and 2019, is open to moving on from the Portuguese legend, and Juventus might try to swap him for PSG's Mauro Icardi or Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

However, if Ronaldo doesn't find a destination he likes, Juventus and Allegri are also open to keeping him in Turin for the last year of the deal he signed in 2018.

Ronaldo, 36, scored 101 goals for Juve during his first three seasons with the Italian giants, adding 22 assists. This season he was Serie A's top scorer with 29 goals.
