SERIE A - Juventus keeping Szczesny in and fetching experienced backup

Not pursuing Gianluigi Donnarumma anymore, on returning boss Massimiliano Allegri's say, Juventus management are planning to keep 31-year old Polish international goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in, for the fifth season in a row, on his regular starting spot, and bring in a further experienced backup, to fill the void left by Gianluigi Buffon's farewell.
To this end, while not relying on Mattia Perin, joining back from his 18-month long Genoa loan spell, Bianconeri are tracking both 34-year old Italian international goalie Salvatore Sirigu, still on a deal with city-rival side Torino until June 2022, and currently engaged in Euro 2020 campaign, and almost 38-year old Antonio Mirante, leaving AS Roma on a free move. The latter, also playing for Bologna and Sampdoria in the past, used to be a Bianconeri alumni and pro player, back in the 2000's.
