Just today, Juventus officially announced managing director Fabio Paratici is leaving the team after 11 years. The end of an era for the italian giants, a couple of years after the other architect of the team's dominant decade, Beppe Marotta, was let go and eventually joined Inter Milan.
Now, team President Andrea Agnelli has to replace Paratici and, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, he is choosing to do so from within, promoting Fabio Cherubini to managing director for the sporting area and Giovanni Manna to sporting director.
Cherubini, 50, joined Juve in 2012. He followed the club's youth teams and was later a key part in the development of Juve's U23 team. He was promoted to football director last year.
Manna, 33, joined Juve in 2019. He was first in charge of the U19 team, than became the U23's sporting director.
In the meantime, vice-president Pavel Nedved should be confirmed in his role.
