Following his 4th minutes goal which fired Cremonese to a slim win over Empoli on Friday, Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers believes his side will survival relegation this season despite spending most of the season in the drop zone, Nigeriasoccernet.com can report.

The win was Cremonese's 3rd of the season and with 19 points gathered so far, 7 from safety, 8 games to go, Cyriel Dessers confident they will beat the drop.

“I believe in our maintenance in Serie A. We have seen that with 2 wins everything is possible. We know what to do.

“It was wonderful to win here, under our curve. It was a very difficult match, but we did a great job and I’m very happy. I must congratulate our defenders who did a great job,” he said.

The goal against Empoli was Dessers' 6th in the league this season for Cremonese and will eye to do more when they visit Udinese Calcio on Sunday.
