Sergio Conceicao emerges as favourite to become Valencia manager

Sergio Conceicao is the leading candidate to take charge of Valencia after the club decided to part company with Carlos Corberan.

Corberan’s side collected only one point from their first five matches of the new season, prompting Valencia’s leadership to make a change in the dugout.

According to La Voz del Murcielago, Conceicao is now being considered as the man who could rescue the Spanish club, known as Los Che.

The Portuguese coach previously managed Milan. He left the Italian club in the middle of 2025 and had not been seeking a new position since then, but Valencia could now provide his next opportunity.

Valencia’s next fixture is against Alaves.
