Southampton will face Leeds United in the final following a commanding second-half performance.

After a goalless first leg, Saints midfielder Will Smallbone broke the deadlock in the second half, striking from an angle into the top right corner past Baggies keeper Alex Palmer.

Adam Armstrong then doubled the lead, igniting celebrations within the stadium.

Armstrong secured Southampton's Wembley spot with a second goal from the penalty spot after Ryan Manning was fouled. Cedric Kipre's injury-time header for West Brom served only as a consolation.

While Nigerian midfielder, Joe Aribo played almost the entire minutes of the game for Southampton, Ajayi was an under substitute.
