Montpellier forward Jerome Adams has been sidelined for a few weeks after suffering an injury in the Ligue 1 clash with Brest, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 24-year-old picked up the injury just before the international break and is expected to miss a couple of games.

Adams has already begun rehabilitation work and is confident of returning to action soon.

The former Flying Eagles striker has scored three goals in 11 league appearances for Montpellier this season.
