Samuel Chukwueze could be in line for a fresh start under a new manger at AC Milan with reports that Paulo Fonseca is under fire after abysmal results few games into the season, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Unable to nail down a starting berth since his move from Villareal first under Stefano Pioli who is now the head coach of Al Nassr and now under the Portuguese Fonseca who faces race to turn the tides around with the Serie A giants, the Nigeria international could be set for another restart with top managers already been linked to the club.

Coming at the back of 3-1 home loss to Liverpool in the UCL, the players were jeered by the supporters and now reports are linking former Juventus boss Max Allegri to the club but Fonseca has just one lifeline to save his job with the derby against Inter on Sunday night at San Siro the only ultimatum he has to turn the tides around.

Chukwueze would be hoping to be involved in the derby as Fonseca looks to keep his job.
