Sampdoria were back at the training ground on Tuesday as preparations for Sunday’s derby clash began in earnest.

Dennis Praet, Emil Audero, Vid Belec and Jakub Jankto returned to Bogliasco having completed their commitments with their respective national teams. The Belgian midfielder took part in the full programme with the rest of the squad while the other three focused on recovery work.

Primavera youngsters Mohamed Bahlouli, Daouda Peeters, Matteo Raspa and Markus Soomets joined in with the senior squad.

Vasco Regini did personalised work while Edgar Barreto had physiotherapy.
