Ruben Dias praises Manchester City’s commitment despite Aston Villa defeat

Ruben Dias praised Manchester City’s commitment after their unbeaten start to the Premier League was ended by a 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa in the eighth round of matches.

The result was Manchester City’s first failure to take any points this season, following seven successive victories at the beginning of their campaign.

“Today was not our day,” said Dias, who nevertheless highlighted the effort shown by his team-mates during the match.

Manchester City, managed by Enzo Maresca, remain top of the Premier League despite the loss, with 21 points.
