England left-back Danny Rose has called into question his future with Tottenham Hotspur, despite having helped the club reach the Champions League final.

The 28-year-old defender has spent more than a decade with Spurs and is closing in on the 200-appearance mark in all competitions.

It has been no secret that my name has been mentioned quite a few times in terms of players moving on.

However, Rose seems uncertain if he will start next season with the Lilywhites, having been linked with a possible move away from the club both last summer and this.

He told Sky Sports: "I don't know what the future holds now. If I'm back at Tottenham next season, great, if I'm not - great. I'll just have to wait and see.

"It's not about regular first-team football. I know my age and I know how the club's run in terms of if you get to a certain age they might look to ship you on.

"It has been no secret that my name has been mentioned quite a few times in terms of players moving on and I'll be just sitting tight over the next few weeks and just seeing what happens. Either way I'm prepared for whatever happens.

"Last season I didn't play as much as I wanted. This season I've played quite a bit, it's been really good."

Tottenham finished in fourth place in the Premier League in the season just ended and are 4/6 to end in the top-four again next season, while they are 14/1 to win the league title.
