Ronald Araujo open to permanent Liverpool move after Barcelona loan

Uruguay defender Ronald Araujo is happy with life at Liverpool and would consider making his move from Barcelona permanent, according to reports.

The 27-year-old joined the Reds on loan from the Catalan club and has settled quickly at Anfield. Insider Ekrem Konur said on social media that Araujo’s adaptation to his new surroundings has gone very well.

Araujo is reportedly not opposed to remaining with the Merseyside club beyond the current loan agreement.

He has made three appearances in the English Premier League this season and has been shown one yellow card.

The defender’s loan deal with Liverpool runs until the end of June next year. His transfer value is estimated at 20 million euros.
