Roma v AC Milan: Official Line-Ups
Roma are looking to bounce back from their Coppa Italia humiliation when AC Milan visit the capital on Sunday evening in a crucial fixture for the Champions League race in Serie A.
The Giallorossi have had a week to forget, throwing away a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 with Atalanta last Sunday before being dumped out of the cup with a 7-1 hammering at the hands of Fiorentina in midweek.
Just one point separates Milan in fourth from Roma in fifth going into the game, with the visitors looking to record a third consecutive Serie A win against the capital club for the first time since 1996.
Gennaro Gattuso’s side have impressed defensively of late, conceding a league-best three goals in their last eight games, but Roma are unbeaten in their last four Serie A matches and have scored at least twice in each of them.
New Milan signing Krzysztof Piatek has already scored against both Roma and Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico for Genoa this season, while Edin Dzeko is looking to find the net in back-to-back games for the first time since October 2017.
