Roma have announced that midfielder Bryan Cristante has signed a new long-term contract with the club. Cristante, 24, has put pen-to-paper on a new four-and-a-half year deal, which runs until 30 June 2024.

“I’m delighted to renew my contract. This is where I want to be, to keep on improving; I believe in the project we are building here and I think it can be very successful", said Cristante.

The Italy international joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2018, and has since gone on to make 54 appearances for the club – scoring five goals.

“I was well aware of Bryan’s technical ability even before I came to Roma. Once I got here, I also had the chance to observe and appreciate the dedication and drive he brings to his work every day", said club sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.
