Rodri addresses reports that Ballon d’Or boycott influenced Real Madrid decision

Barcelona midfielder Rodri Hernandez has responded to reports claiming he rejected a move to Real Madrid because of the club’s boycott of the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Real Madrid decided not to attend the event after learning that Rodri had won the vote. The club believed the award should have gone to Vinicius.

Rodri left Manchester City for Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
