Rodgers expects Vardy to feature
New Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is confident that striker Jamie Vardy will be fit to face lowly Fulham at the King Power Stadium this weekend.
The former England frontman suffered a nasty facial injury in a clash with Hornets goalkeeper Ben Foster as the Foxes 2-1 at Watford last Sunday.
He had a couple of stitches in his tongue, but he should be fine for the weekend.

However, Rodgers believes Vardy will be raring to go on Saturday, having needed several stitches in his tongue.
"He's fine, he obviously had a bad knock," Rodgers told his pre-match press conference. "He had a couple of stitches in his tongue, but he should be fine for the weekend."
Vardy netted the City goal at Vicarage Road last Sunday and is 21/20 to score at any time against the Cottagers, with the hosts 4/7 to win the game and 11/8 to keep a clean sheet against the Londoners.
Meanwhile, City left-back Ben Chilwell has explained what Rodgers is looking for from his new charges, having spoken to the Foxes squad about his approach to the game.
Chilwell told the Leicester Mercury: "We had a meeting when we came in on what he expects from us and what we can expect from him.
"The main thing that came out of it was fact he wants us to press and to be very aggressive, and try and win the ball back quickly - be difficult to play against.
"He wants us to play a good style of football and be a team with lots of goals (but) be solid at the back as well."
