Rodgers coy on Leicester link
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has attempted to play down speculation linking him with the managerial vacancy at Leicester City.
The Foxes have started to search for a new manager after parting company with Claude Puel on Sunday.
It is believed that mid-table Leicester will wait until the summer before naming a permanent successor to the Frenchman, who had only been in charge at the King Power Stadium for 16 months.
They are currently 12th in the table after losing five of their last six Premier League games while they were knocked out of the FA Cup by League Two side Newport County last month.
Former Liverpool boss Rodgers is contracted to Celtic until 2021 but is one of the favourites to take on the Leicester City role alongside the former Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner and Newcastle United's Rafa Benitez.
Speaking after Celtic had beaten Motherwell, 4-1 on Sunday, Rodgers said: "My position hasn't changed. I think since I've been here there's always been that [speculation]. I've spoken to you a number of times on these things.
"My focus on Sunday was for Celtic and the players. It was very important for us to get three points and keep the momentum going. Other than that I've got nothing to say.
"It was a very good win. After the game in midweek [Thursday's Europa League defeat to Valencia], we knew it would be a really tough physical game for us but I thought the players were very good."
Celtic are 8/15 to beat Hibernian on Saturday and 7/1 to edge to a 2-1 victory against the Easter Road-based outfit.
