Rodgers' arrival thrills Maguire
England international Harry Maguire believes the sky is the limit for Leicester City under former Liverpool and Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.
The Foxes moved quickly to name Rodgers as their new manager after parting company with Claude Puel on Sunday and they produced one of their better recent performances to beat Brighton 2-1 at King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
Goals by Demarai Gray and Jamie Vardy put Leicester in control of the game and the relegation-threatened Seagulls could only respond with Davy Propper's consolation strike.
Maguire said of Rodgers' appointment: "It shows great ambition from the club. There has been no hanging about and it is one that all the lads are looking forward to.
"We've got a young squad here and he brings through a lot of young players so it's a perfect fit and, like I said, from me and the boys, we're really looking forward to it so let's crack on.
"It's been really annoying and frustrating of late. We feel like we're doing well in games, we're in control of the game and then all of a sudden we find ourselves a goal down.
"It was a nervy end again and a scrappy second-half performance from ourselves with chances at both ends really. It was a really important three points."
Leicester are 21/10 to beat Watford on Sunday and 11/1 to win 2-1 at Vicarage Road.
