Robertson sets out Tottenham’s priorities after poor start

Tottenham defender Andrew Robertson says the club must change its approach if they are to improve their position in the English league.

Tottenham have taken only two points from their opening five matches of the season and are currently bottom of the table.

The London side spent more than £300m on transfers during the summer, but that investment has yet to produce an improvement in results.

Robertson also highlighted the way Tottenham react to events during matches, identifying the team’s response as an area that needs to improve.

The 32-year-old Scotland international joined Tottenham as a free agent in summer 2026 after spending nine years at Liverpool.
