Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom hopes to triumph over his old pal Afriyie Acquah again when his Atalanta side host Sampdoria in the Serie A on Sunday.

The 20-year-old came off the bench to score the only goal for Atalanta when Acquah played full throttle for Parma in October last year.

Acquah has gone on to sign for Sampdoria and commanded a regular spot in the starting line-up in two matches.

The two players are managed by one agent Oliver Arthur and all got signed by Italian clubs after playing in the Romeo and Juliet Cup in 2009.

“I scored against him at Parma and I hope to get the chance to play against him tomorrow. Let’s wait and see what God has for me,” Boakye told GHANASoccernet.com

Boakye has been a bit-part player for Atalanta with three goals from 16 appearances.
