Richarlison transfer to Vasco da Gama collapses after contract talks break down

Tottenham have accepted a transfer offer from Vasco da Gama for Richarlison, but the move has fallen through after the striker failed to agree personal terms with the Rio de Janeiro club, according to journalist Alasdair Gold.

The transfer window in Brazil closes this evening, meaning Richarlison now appears unlikely to return to his homeland at this stage.

It had previously been reported that the 29-year-old could terminate his contract with Tottenham before joining another club as a free agent. However, no agreement has been reached with Vasco da Gama.

Richarlison has been left out of Tottenham’s squad for Premier League matches and is not training with the first team.
